Become an Apprentice

Go Apprenticeship!

If you're looking for a world-class educational program that combines paid training in precision skills, classes at accredited Career & Technical Schools and Community Colleges, and a career trajectory upon completion, apply to one of our Registered Apprenticeship Programs today!

Registered Apprenticeship Programs are opportunities for people to train on-the-job as well as take classes sponsored by their employer.  We work with partnerships of community-focused employers that are interested in training their skilled professionals through Apprenticeships.

These career boosting programs result in nationally recognized Journeyworker credentials in industries positioned for the future and a full-time job.  Apprentices are supported through grants, company contributions and wages to ensure they compete the training with no debt.

Apprenticeship opportunities are competitive.  In order to be considered for open positions, the first step is to submit your application, including your resume, using the form below.

If you don’t already have industry or technical training experience, you may wish to consider participating in a pre-apprenticeship program to prepare you for success.  Pre-apprentices graduates are able to show potential employers that they are motivated and have mastered fundamentals that are essential to a successful Apprenticeship.

You can find pre-apprenticeship opportunities in your area by contacting your local Workforce Development Board. A list of the Boards throughout Pennsylvania is available here.

Below are links to pre-apprenticeships that actively partner with our Lehigh Valley training program (iTEC Lehigh Valley):

In order to be considered for an Apprenticeship position, we just need your completed registration form, including a your up-to-date résumé.  That goes out to our Apprenticeship host companies for consideration.

Please note that there may not be an Apprenticeship currently available that matches your background.  We will keep your application on file for 12 months for our companies to review as openings are announced.  You can notify us at any time if you wish to withdraw your application for any reason.

If you have other questions about Apprenticeship, please feel free to reach out and we will be happy to answer them or direct you to the best available resources.
